My First Home
In late May 2007 Nicole and I became a proud home owners. For those of you wondering what the place looks like, please, join me for a tour. Click on any of the photos below for a larger image.

The townhouse is located in a nice leafy complex in Mt Gravatt East, a suburb of Brisbane, Australia |
It's a three level home, cut into a hillside, with the double garage on the bottom floor and the living areas in the two floors above. |
Entry is via the large deck on the front, this is going to be great for having people over and, of course, BBQ-ing. |
Come on inside. |
Just inside there's the large, modern kitchen to the left, with a servery window that conveniently opens out onto the deck. Unfortunately, that fridge is the current owner's not ours, but we're looking at buying one that looks similar. |
Next to the kitchen there's a reasonable sized living area (currently with the owner's lovely floral couches) with air conditioning as well. You can see the deck through those doors and just behind the camera is the… |
…access to the very private rear courtyard. |
The rear courtyard is a fair size (you can only see about half of it here) with nice high fences keeping it private. I'm planning on planting it out a bit more with some screening plans (maybe camellias) and there will be a cat enclosure linked to the main house for Pepi (Brett doesn't know it yet but he's probably going to help me build it). |
| There's also a laundry and a 3rd toilet downstairs. | |
Now to head upstairs where we can find the bathroom and 3 bedrooms. |
Here's the main bedroom. It's a good size and there's also… |
…an ensuite attached. |
The second bedroom is somewhat smaller, I'll be turning this into my office once we move in. It's got a window to the side and the front. |
Finally, the third bedroom which is about the same size as the second. |
Finally, here's the view from our deck down towards the complex entry/exit. |
